We believe that every player should have the opportunity to become the best possible hockey player. Whether you’re are six or sixty six, you can still keep on improving your game. But you may need some assistance to do that. You may need a coach to help you work on your game.

Havant Hockey has several highly qualified coaches and a number of upcoming junior coaches, our ambition is to continually develop and expand our top class group of coaches at the club, with at least one coach for every team, both for training and for matches. Just like our players, we want coaches to develop and have the opportunity to become the best they can be.

If you are an existing player or new to hockey, perhaps your child has taken up the game, we’re looking for more people to share their skills, knowledge and passion for the game by trying out as a coach. In particular, we’re looking for more women and girls to give coaching a go.

With this in mind, Craig Duffy, our Director of Coaching, has launched a programme of activities, such as Coaching of coaches sessions, Junior Coaching Support & Mentoring, Community Coaching Projects, ensuring anyone who wants to become England Hockey Qualified as a Coach has the opportunity to do so.
